« on: Wednesday 14 March 18 20:55 GMT (UK) »
This is grand aunt and uncle Margaret and Thomas Monks and parents of 4 lads I have already submitted a photo to hopefully have improved. They were married in 1899 at about age 23. Nice to photo improved and possibly dated please

Is this a double exposure or the reflection of a room on the glass ........   :-\

;D ;D  Can't help agreeing with you Andy.   Nigh on impossible like this!  I italisized the 'nigh on' because I bet someone tries.  But they would be better to wait really and not waste their time.

This looks quite distorted due to the angle the photo was taken (her hands look huge!)  :). The reflections are distracting and probably add tons of work for any restorers, so a scan (or at least a much better photo) would be a good idea.  :) It's a lovely photo though.

Sorry about the poor condition of the photo. The extended family member who gave it to me is not in the best of health so not in a position to make a further approach. Thanks anyway for even considering having a go at it. Pat
