War photograpaer 2nd Lieutenant David McLellan.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help. i am doing research on British WWI war photographer 2nd Lieutenant David McLellan. All I know is that he joined the Royal Flying Corp in 1915 and then in 1917 became a war photographer for the Daily Mail and Mirror.

I would like to find as much info on his life as I can.

There's a record for him on Find My Past shows him enlisting into Royal Flying Corps as photographer number 7610  he was promoted to Flight Sergeant in 1916 so must've been commissioned after then
Dad was John William McLellan of 61 Alexandra park road London.

Ady, that is excellent mate thank you. I should say that I posted some stuff on Facebook on a page I created called 'The Heroes at Lyons La Forêt' as he was there during WWI but I want to develope the article. The stuff you quoted I wll mention but I would like to find out more about him.
