help with reading some old certificates

Hi, I had some great help from everyone here last year and hope to get some more help now.

I've found some records for a gtgt Uncle on scotlandspeople and wondered if anyone could help me with the handwriting? I'm hopeless

The birth certificate is for William Miskrias Pampalute, illegitimate, born 19 July 1903 at 10 Charles Street, Greenock. The mother is Agatha Pampalute, daughter of a labourer. The rest of it is just her mark and the registrar's signature.

The death certificate is for William Marshall (formerly William Miskrias Pampalute), railway porter, married to Eva Kurilote. Died January 16th 1958 at 166 Templeland Road, Glasgow, aged 54. Mother Agatha Pampalute (afterwards Miskrias) deceased. Carcinoma of rectum, 18 months, pulmonary tuberculosis, 4 years, as certified by John C Colvin (with letters after his name). Informant E Marshall, widow, present.

This is so confusing! i've found the marriage for william and eva but he has named himself as Vincent? its definitely the same person, the parents are the same even though the spelling is different as usual  The registrar on this entry actually has fairly neat writing and I have been able to read most of it but a second opinion would be great, especially Eva's parents names.

Why would someone be born William, die as William but get married as Vincent? So strange!

Both fathers are named as Yurgis, which could be a version of George in a number of places of origin, could be Greek (more usually Georgios), maybe Egyptian/Ethiopian, possibly Georgian (of course) but I wondered about Lithuanian.

Her parents Yurgis and Maryona(?)   née Gusticute.  At least that's what it looks like.

But if they are Lithuanian names, the names ending in -te are feminine forms, so Eva Kuriliute's father would be Jurgis Kuril--- with a different ending.  Of course the priest or registrar in Glasgow probably wouldn't take that into account.  If you know someone who speaks the relevant language they could hopefully give you the correct spellings of the names.

As for Vincent/William, who knows?  Perhaps his parents called him by a name in their language that could be rendered into English as one of those.
