My gr. grandfather John Connelly who lived on 88 Florence St. Lanarkshire as per 1901 census died 1914. He was born in 1868 County Longford, Ireland. He was married to Elizabeth Cregg. Children were Mary Ellen, Elizabeth, Steven and John. Story goes that he fell down the stairs at his sisters house, left and was found dead in a ditch.  He was buried in an unmarked grave but eventually his identity was found out.  Another rumour is that he fell off the roof of the pub?  Looking for any info.
