Canadian Passenger list
« on: Thursday 15 March 18 18:09 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to track down Alfred Russon who was born 1894 in Birmingham.  I've found him in the 1901 census, but then he disappears.

I noticed there is a mention of a Alfred Russon on a few Canadian lists, but I only have a UK sub at the moment, so if anyone can look for me I would be grateful.

Thanks
Carol

Thanks Rosie,  I always forget about FS.   That could be him.

Hopefully someone may find him in the census or any other list.

There was an Alfred Russon aged 11 years old (born 1896 - just a little later than yours.) - Canadian Passenger List - Liverpool to Montreal - 2 August 1907 - Home Children - Catholic Society Boys - in charge Father Keating - going to Ottawa.

Thanks very much Sandra

Alfred's sister Lily was in an orphanage in 1911 so it could well be the one in 1907 who went to Canada.  Will try to investigate further.
