If you have access to British Newspapers there is an article on Edward H Marsh with a photograph of him being the managing director of the Woodlands Laundry.

Kent & Sussex Courier 21 October 1932
The article states - Mr Edward H Marsh comes of a Kentish family and has been in business in Tunbridge Wells for many years.

There doesn't appear to be an Edward H Marsh born in Kent c.1884. The one born in Dorking appears to be the only candidate.

Article on Councillor Edward H Marsh's funeral -

Kent & Sussex Courier 04 October 1946. His death was as a result of a cycling accident.

Family mourners included a Madame Pannier (perhaps a relative of Henriette).

That's great information.

Thank you all for your invaluable assistance. I believe I have all I need . I shall follow up with the two newspaper articles about Edward H. March. I can get them from the library.

Hi everyone

I've just joined the forum, and come across this thread by accident (appreciate it's 4 years old now).

Edward Harold Marsh and Henriette Pannier were actually my maternal grandparents!

If there are any questions I can answer for your research, I would be happy to.
