Robert John Sharpe to Canada 1923
« on: Saturday 17 March 18 01:40 GMT (UK) »
Robert John Sharpe was born in Bushmills County Antrim Northern Ireland in 1891
The son of Robert & Maggie Sharpe
He went to Canada on the ss Doric in  1923 arriving in Winnipeg August/September 1923
He was single and he stated on the Form 30 A and that he intended to undertake harvest work
I cannot find him coming back to the Uk
His brother Samuel went London Ontario in 1926 married and had a family he was not a witness at the wedding nor does he appear in any of the family obituaries
I have been unable to find any further information
Can anyone help
I did try a few years ago without success
Many thanks

There are mentions of Robert Shape in Winnipeg Free Press and on Canada Voters Lists (seems to be a few of them)  but nothing to positively identify him as yours.
