The commission would like to make contact with relatives of Private Thomas Willacy born 1895 who died  3 April 1916. Blackpool (disease following war)
Death registered - Flyde Lancashire - June 1916 - 83 821
Thomas was aged 20 years. Regiment 3/5 R Lancs Regiment - Regimental Number 1606
Soldiers effects names his father James -

Two more children born to James and Martha between 1901 and 1911 census Winifred Willacy - 1906 - registered January 1907 Lancaster - 8e 702 and Lillian Willacy - 1903 - Lancaster - 8e 737

Brother George Willacy born 1899 passed away June 1972 - registered Lancaster - 10c 1377
A couple of possible marriages recorded at Lancaster for George Willacy. One of those was a George Willacy to a Elsie Woodhouse (sister below also could also have married a Woodhouse.)

Sister Annie Willacy born 1900 - possible marriage to a Thomas R Woodhouse - registered March 1925 - 8e 1071

Added :- Couldn't see an Elsie on the 1901/1911 census with Thomas Richard Woodhouse.


Sister Winifred Willacy born 1906 - possible marriage to a Edward Woof - Lancaster 1930 - 8c 2026
A death registered for Winifred Woof aged 78 years, gives 20 January 1907 as the birth date.
Birth in March 1931 (could be either sex) and a daughter in June 1933

Lillian Willacy birth registered  1903 - possible marriage 1922 - Lillian Willacy to Robert Butler.
One daughter born 1923 - registered Lancaster - 8e 1064
