Thank you so much Gadget for these 2 versions - both are equally gorgeous. Even I, with my unprofessional, eye can see that a lot of hard & skilful work has been done on this poor original image. I love her blue eyes & sandy coloured hair (same colour as mine as a baby) & you've even managed to bring her dodgy looking left hand back to life!

Thanks again from me & from Nellie's great granddaughter in Toronto who is absolutely thrilled

I've done another, slightly arty one, which was trying to create an older tinted effect. I'll send it to you via e-mail.

Give my regards to your cousin in Toronto - I was there for the first Moon landing!

Returning to the photo,Keith. 

I think the pic you sent is of the same dress as this one. Dark ribbons/decoration on the sleeves and a slight hint of the dark sash.

Is it Nellie or her brother?
