Saloon Bar or Restaurant in P street Boston 1880s 1890s

What was the name of the restaurant saloon bar that occupied 39 P street some time in the 1880s and perhaps the 1890s.
Are there records for this type of thing and or old photos of the location other than can be googled, not very much to be found with a simple google search so local people may have more to add perhaps.
David.

I'm assuming this is in reference to James Birchenough?

Boston Post
Boston, Massachusetts
Friday, August 12, 1881 - Page 2

HENRY WALKER, Chairman, Police Commissioners Office. Boston, Aug. 11, 1881. Notice Is hereby given, under Chapter 255, Acts of 1831. that JAMES BIRCHENOUGH has applied for a license to sell Intoxicating liquors as a victualler of the first class, at No. 39 P street, in said Boston, in first floor of said building.

A few possible  hints:

Thanks for that, think that's about all to be found, the directories have so much in them to see and read.
I have noticed from what i can see on maps that the address is just a couple of garages these days, the original address proberly looked much like other parts of the street.
Thanks again.
