Thank you again. It's going to take me the rest of the day to assimilate all this :)
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Sadly the death of an infant - Robert and Irene MaCartney had a son Donald 18 May 1922 - buried 19 May 1922 Woodlawn Cemetery. Wonder if other Macartney could be buried in the same location  ???
Food for thought for now anyway.

Sadly..............

U.S., Headstone Applications for Military Veterans, 1925-1963 - William Macartney - 9 May 1904 - Woodlawn Cemetery New York

Looks like the application was made by brother Alexander Macartney born 1890

Pvt William Macartney - 12 Regt New York Volunteers - Spanish American War -

signed by Alexancer Macartney - 2281 University Ave -Bronx New York 21 May 1934 -

Pretty sure that the parents would also be buried in the same place.
