This is him on the electoral roll. It’s the same address as the 1939 register.

Yes we think Lawrence and Pamela are twins too. There are two closed records on the 1939 document which is likely to be them, since they would have been around 9 at the time.

He had twins with his first wife Catherine, though neither survived more than a few hours.

It gets better....his marriage certificates says he’s 39 when he would have been about 46!

He listed himself as a bachelor on his second marriage certificate

I think I may have found a death listed for him. The date of birth is 3 years out, but from the input here I’m thinking/hoping that may be a transcription error.

Ordered the certificate, all we can do now is wait!
