John Underwood was buried at St Andrew;s Church, Brockley on 12 Aug 1831 (Nat. Burial Index) aged 72. This places his date of birth around 1759.

In 1793 he married Margaret Prat (1761-1841) in Brockley (Boyds Marriage Index)and they had two children; James (1802-1872) and Elizabeth (b.1804).

Can anyone throw light on the parents of John Underwood or of Margaret Prat?
