Obituary for John Wesley Blanco in the Winnipeg Free Press, April 7, 1998 page 34.

March 13, 1911 - April 5, 1998.  John Wesley Blanco of Grand Forks, B.C.   Predeceased by brother Bill.  Leaves behind wife Venner of Winnipeg, son Wayne (his wife M.) of Christina Lake, B.C.;   Grandson M and a granddaughter of Winnipeg; grandson R and a granddaughter of Christina Lake; Stepdaughter M, children D and B (this is how it is worded... I am guessing that it means children of the stepdaughter M??) and some great grandchildren of Winnipeg; stepson S... and several other grandchildren/greatgrandchildren.

Obituary for James Henry Blanco in the Winnipeg Free Press, Oct 12, 1942, page 5

He was 65.  He died at the Victoria Hospital on Saturday.  He farmed in the Sanford district before moving to Grand Prairie Alberta in 1924, where he resided until 1938, later moving to Fort Whyte, where he lived until his death. 

He is survived by his widow (no name given)
3 daughters ... F and Lorette residing at home and Mrs William McKenzie of Scotland. 
6 sons L, Canadian Signal Corps; J, with the Canadian army; H of Alberta; Wesley of Domain; W of Fannystelle, Man; Lawrence at home

Obituary for Laurence George Blanco.  He died March 10 1997 at the age of 63.  Predeceased by his parents James and Alice May Blanco, twin sister Loretta and brother in law Tony.  Survived by wife M, daughter and husband K and D Hunter (grandchildren and great grandchildren also listed), son and wife J and C Blanco (grandchildren and great grandchildren listed), son L Blanco (grandchildren listed), son D Blanco (grandchildren listed), son and wife K and D Blanco (grandchildren listed).  Also survived by sisters F and husband E Phillips and family, V Blanco, brothers H, D and Wes Blanco.  Other Sisters in law and brothers in law mentioned too.

Interment Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
