Robert James HUGHES, born 21st Feb 1922, Burwood NSW as per enlistment page 1 of 14..  His then occupation shown as tin miner.  His mother listed as Madge Hughes at page 7 of 14. His father shown there as his nok, Robert HUGHES, Rose Valley, Emmaville. Among the paperwork Robert James HUGHES status changes from single to married, and his wife’s name and then address is noted (March 1946?), there’s correspondence dated August 1968 from R J Hughes re his service medals. It gives his then Queensland address.

I have the records from Robert Hughes in reply 11. I am looking on any information on his mother Madge and father Robert or siblings.
