« on: Friday 23 March 18 17:22 GMT (UK) »
I have just changed laptops.. from an old win 7 to a .n.other - win 7

It is a refurbed one from a pc shop  ..  worst case I will go back to shop after Easter.

Until then I wondered if any one could help

I am finding it difficult to type  and I will have to post in sections

I will rule out that you're typing wearing boxing gloves, the next thing to rule out is that there isn't a load of crumbs under the keys, a quick blast or in reverse with the Hoover might help, but it sounds as though there isn't enough memory. Try closing any other open applications and try again.

uhm

now I am back on my ancient and trustworthy steed....

my brain is so tired of all this.. cos this one had a different/old login for all sites.  and though I had written them down PLAINLY  they were not being accepted.

Norton antivirus was the worst.. I nearly threw the darned laptop across the room, then took a deep breath and downloaded AVG until I can get it all sorted.. I just paid good money for Norton and now they dont recognise me..

Spooked off... enuff already.. I am going to take that Hoover (martin) outside to blow all the bloomin clouds away... and the alcohol that didnt cause the problem cos it was still in the cupboard Hallmark... is coming out.

If over the next few days I manage to regain some kind of sanity in one thing or another... I may return.

otherwise

yes searched cursor and all and everything.... solved nada :( :(   thanks anyway
