If you know his parents married in Pencombe in 1758, then surely you must know their names already?
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

Didn't whoever "told" you about this marriage of his parents also tell you their names?

If not - I wouldn't take any notice of it!

Hi

Just looked at my notes

A Benjamin jones in the 1841 census in pencombe ( burhope )

Benjamin jones 79-83

Benjamin jones 30-34

James hill 25-29

So I took it that these jones were the father 30-34
of Benjamin 1853 ( that I am researching )

and the grandfather  79-83

Because in 1861 census

In pencombe

Burghope

Benjamin jones 53 b bromyard
A farmer

Mary jones 44 b as above

Benjamin jones 8 b pencombe

Mary Ann jones 2 b pencombe

Isack Collins 49 b tewkesbury
A lodger

This where I took my information from

Regards Phil
