Missing birth and death info for Rudy Hockl

Hi.

I'm having difficulty finding info for my uncle Rudolf "Rudy" HOCKL, seems like records on him are kinda scarce, all I know about him is that he died May 5th 2016 somewhere in Canada...don't know precisely where though. But I can't find anything at all for his birth, or even his marriage to my aunt Maryanne, I've hit a dead end.  Can you guys help me tear down this brick wall? I'd like to know specifically where he died and of course his date and place of birth, their marriage would be great as well if possible.

The date is two days off, but being a rarer name, I'm guessing the right person?

Rudolf "Rudy" Hockl was born 12 January 1955 and passed away 3 May 2016 - Kelowna, British Columbia according to ancestry tree. (with photograph of him)

Canada had very strict privacy laws so this will be the reason you cannot find much information for both the birth and the marriage.
