Could this be the same handwriting
« on: Saturday 24 March 18 12:17 GMT (UK) »
I have a marriage in 1791 of Ann Lunn and another of Ann Green in 1816.
Would you think they are the same person. Difficult I know but ...

Me neither. There are few letters to compare. But the pen pressure used on upward strokes compared to downward strokes looks much lighter in the second document.

I don't think so.  Handwriting looks very different.

I agree
The two capital As are different, and the slope on the n in each sample goes a different way

Still, we have to take into account a 25 year gap between them - people's writing does change as the years go by.

Thank you. I have just had a reply to another post and my Ann Lunn / Green died without remarrying. You are all correct it can`t be the same.
