Ann Walton and John Clark
« on: Saturday 24 March 18 17:16 GMT (UK) »
Absolutely stuck trying to find who Ann Walton's parents were and the parents of John Clark, also when he died.
Ann was born about 1796 in Durham. Ann married William Featherstonhaugh at Walton on the Hill, Lancashire, 1812. William died and then she married John Clark at Witton Gilbert, 1834. I can only guess she died 1856, however, I am not certain.
I can't find a death record for John Clark, although I know he was still alive on the 1861 census living with his son, William Clark and family in Witton Gilbert.
Any help finding Ann's parents or when John Clark died would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

John Clark was already a widower in 1851 as far as I can see.    In 1861 he was living with son but in Durham not Witton Gilbert.   Still alive in 1871 with son in Witton Gilbert.
