WW1 medal engraving , advice please
« on: Sunday 25 March 18 13:25 BST (UK) »
After years of looking, I am unable to find my grandfathers WW1 medals, so I purchased a copy set.
Would anyone be able to advise where I can get them engraved with his details??

Search "Medal engraving" on Google brings up a number of sites if no-one makes a positive recommendation.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,

Thanks, what I have found so far is that they only seem to want to engrave medals bought from them. Not sure if I have the correct sites.

I do wish I had personal experience to go on.  This one looks at least worth a phone call:
https://bigburymint.com/medal-engraving/.   I rather like the way they reference the correct military publications.
