« on: Sunday 25 March 18 14:34 BST (UK) »
I have a long case grandfather clock
 made by
      "STANCLIFF. BURNLEY".
I am trying to determine age and origin, history of the maker.
Thanks,
George

Hi Hogmang
Extracted from "Lancashire Clocks and Clockmakers" by Brian Loomes, is the following:

"Stancliffe, John, Burnley, Watchmaker, 6 Croft Street in 1824; Howe Street 1828.  Son born there 1835 to wife Mary"
