Looking for Rose Middleton (1760ish - 1835)
« on: Tuesday 27 March 18 15:09 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for any information about Rose MIDDLETON. She married John OWEN in Heydon on 12 June 1780 and died 18 July 1835 aged 75. I cannot find any birth of baptism records for her. Any help or pointers appreciated.

Hello,

Like you, I couldn't find a baptism for Rose.
Looked at the parish registers, archdeacons transcripts and bishops transcripts for Heydon.

On each one, there are various gaps.

You've probably seen there was a William and Mary Middleton baptising children around that time in Heydon.

The Norfolk Records Office has a Will for a William Middleton who died at Heydon in 1790, which is also viewable on the Family Search site.  (but requires a log-in to their site)

I have had a look at the Will.

William mentions his wife Mary, and children Thomas and Ann - but not Rose.

However, the executor, and a beneficiary, is a John Owens.
