His son (Dec qtr 1916 Camberwell) was George Thomas White, mmn Fisher.

If son was named after father (have you checked the 1939 Register for Snr/Jnr?) then this one looks a possibility:

Baptism, St Peter, Vauxhall

10 Feb 1886

George Thomas White, son of Henry (labourer) and Matilda, of 6 Murray’s Buildings.
Ayr: Barnes, Wylie
Caithness: MacGregor
Essex: Eldred (Pebmarsh)
Gloucs: Timbrell (Winchcomb)
Hants: Stares (Wickham)
Lincs: Maw, Jackson (Epworth, Belton)
London: Pierce
Suffolk: Markham (Framlingham)
Surrey: Gosling (Richmond)
Wilts: Matthews, Tarrant (Calne, Preshute)
Worcs: Milward (Redditch)
Yorks: Beaumont, Crook, Moore, Styring (Huddersfield); Middleton (Church Fenton); Exley, Gelder (High Hoyland); Barnes, Birchinall (Sheffield); Kenyon, Wood (Cumberworth/Denby Dale)

Thanks. Yes, I had just found that on familysearch. The father's full name, according to the marriage registers, is Henry Thomas White.

Hi again, I do hope we are tracking the correct family, that 1915 marriage would answer all??

Matilda aged 46 has remarried in 1901 census to a Mr Lee with a 3 year old daughter plus White children
