Jane Dowsett of Pleshey, born 1730s

In 1755 Jane Dowsett married Barrington Loveday at Great Waltham. The various websites, familysearch and others, have no record of a baptism for Jane, but on the internet I found someone saying that he had looked at the registers for Holy Trinity, Pleshey and they were very difficult to read. He thought they showed a Jane Dowsett born in Pleshey in 1733, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Dowsett. Does anyone know anything about this Thomas and Elizabeth?!

Sue. Thank you. No, it doesn't look like Jane, who is said on various online family trees to have been born in 1738! Jane is a direct ancestor of my sister-in-law and I seem to remember finding years ago that the Dowsetts in Pleshey may have been non-conformists. If I find out anything interesting I shall let you know.
