William HAYNES 1851 (thanks for info)

I think  I can eliminate him based on:

1851 Census shows they have a child Edwards HAYNES aged 15-16, this would make him born in approx 1835 / 1836. He may be their first child after they were married in 1834 (if this is them). Even though I can't find them in 1841 - I'm assuming they would have been living together as a family (possibly with their two other children Mary aged 12 and William aged 10). It could well be that 1851 Census William died in 1861 (per your findings) and that Elizabeth Haynes (nee Weaver) is in the censuses 1871 and 1881 as per your great detective work.

The William HAYNES I'm after is already on the 1841 CENSUS - was worth a try.

There is one interesting piece though .... Benjamin Haynes (my William's father) was at No 181 Cheapside, Aston, Warwickshire (in 1861) and it looks like William (born 1815) was at No 203 Cheapside, Aston, Warwickshire (in 1851). I'm not sure if this links them in anyway ....

I found the marriage between John HAINES and Susanna WEM 1874 Aston. We would need to sight the original record (or transcript) to see if his father's name (hopefully Benjamin HAYNES), occupation, abode etc appears

Surname WEM is also listed on the 1881 CENSUS you found as she had children from a previous marriage.

Looking at 1881 CENSUS - did Susannah WEM really have John WEM when she was 11 years old...

Looking at 1881 CENSUS given John HAINES and Sussanah WEM married in 1874 Aston, then maybe the children who are listed as Sylvester HAINES (14 years born 1867) and John HAINES (12 years born are 1869) from an earlier marriage (of John HAINES b1823 approx)?

Looking at baptism records for Silvester HAINES 1867 and John HAINES 1869 it looks like their father John HAINES married an Emma xxx

And the boys were baptised on same day 28/02/1869.

Off to look for Emma's surname...
