James George Whitehead marriage record

Hi there,
I am trying to find a marriage record for James George Whitehead born about 1843. I know he married Mary Ann Matthews in 1863 in Southwark. I have found a record for them which is just a list but can't find a full record. The reason I want to find out one is to see if his father is listed as deceased as I am trying to find his father's death.
Any help would be much appreciated.

You would need to order a copy of the marriage certificate to get details of his father and unfortunately fathers weren't always noted as deceased even if they were so it may not give you what you need.

Albert married 1867 father deceased.

Thank you for that. I knew that he was already dead by his sons wedding in 1867 and his last child born to him was in 1855 so he must have died sometime between those two dates. Thought James George's marriage might narrow it down further.
Can find no death record for the father.

Have you found the family on the 1861 census which would show if the father James W was still alive then? That might narrow down your death date search further?

No I haven't. The child born in 1855 was born in Spain so they may have still been over there.
