Howell Family Margam
« on: Saturday 31 March 18 17:04 BST (UK) »
Hi there,
Been researching my Howell Family around 1800 in the Margam area. Found John Howel (Spelt with one L) married to Catherine Jenkins. Cannot go further back though. Seems everyone doing the same family have become stuck on the same names.
Could someone possibly look up the witness's on this marriage and if possible look for the baptism of John Howell (Howell). Have a feeling it may not be in Margam though.
I have found and Evan John Burial in Margam 1862 could be his father as that name comes down the family.
Infact any help would be amazing.
Many Thanks in Advance S.L

You don't give a year for the marriage of John and Catherine.   I did find a marriage on  20 May1786
in Margan.   Although it is a transcription and no witnesses are listed the bride's parish is listed as Margam and the groom's parish is Pile
