In 1881 Comfort is a visitor with the Willis family. She has two children with her - Ada 1 year and Harry 1 month.

There is a death registration for Comfort George in Dec 1927 - Northampton - vol 3b page 78 so perhaps she never married William Sadler - haven't seen anything yet - have you groom ?

Adding a few more bits - hoping the poster returns to acknowledge the thread -  was on line this morning but has made no comment.

John Sadler George 1892–1918
born January 1892 - Northamptonshire - died 17 August 1918 - France and Flanders.
British Army Service record shows residence Place - 27 Devonshire St, Northampton in 1915. Single.
Next of kin Comfort Sadler - same address.

Regimental Number   43236 - 6 th battalion - (Formerly 26542, Bedfordshire Regt) - Died of wounds -
Western European Theatre.
