Poland - Jewish marriage 1882
« on: Saturday 31 March 18 19:09 BST (UK) »
Before I post names, can I ask the question?

I have a date for a marriage - 15 January 1882 - somewhere in Poland AND it is a Jewish marriage - I also have the "perhaps anglicised" names of bride and groom.

What are the chances of finding details of such a marriage?  I'm asking because I don't want to waste anyone's time.  :)

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

OK.  I have looked on www.jewishgen.org but nothing showing.

The date is 15 February 1882 - groom is Benjamin Shulman/Schulman/Schuleman, bride is Dinah Barritz/Baritz/Berritz or  :-\ :-\ :-\  Place of marriage just says Poland.

Dinah's death entry says that her parents are David Baritz and Rachel Resenfeld.

Please don't bother looking further - I'm no longer interested in helping the person who might have benefited.   :-X :-X
