Please can you help me link Busby families?
« on: Monday 02 April 18 20:17 BST (UK) »
Hello,
I wondered if any of you might have any tips on how I can find out if James Busby born 1819 (my relation) and James Busby born 1805 are related, both of them are in the tiny village with their families in 1841,1851,1861 and 1871 census, my James is then found in Deddington in 1881.

Other James 1805 b North Aston to John (b c 1769, Oxon unknown where) and Elizabeth (surname and dob/dod/marriage unknown) , John is with them in 1841.
Children with Hannah (surname unknown). He is a labourer and parish Clark)
Richard 1828
Mary 1831
Eliza 1833
Ann 1836
Hannah 1836
William 1838
George 1840
James 1844 - all North Aston.

My James

Son of William (1796-1831 born Steeple Barton married phebe... )  born of James and Ann (their birth place, dob/dod/marriage and her maiden name unknown)

James (a Baker) marries Esther Eleanor grubb 1850. Children all born in North Aston :
Harriet 1851
Seton 1854
Dora 1856
Eliza 1859
Katherine Jane 1862
Esther (my ancestor) 1864
Ralph 1867
Gertrude 1869

Given the tiny place and proximity of North Aston and Steeple Barton, I think James b 1819 and James b 1805 must be related but how?!
I think ancestry does not have all of the Oxfordshire b/m/down on line yet?

It would be amazing if you could offer any help or tips.

Best wishes
Em
