Many thanks to you Tree Spirit.  Particularly the Death Notice that names both his parents, wife and two daughters.  Sadly for me it does not list the woman that I was looking for, Denise or Andrea BOERNE born about 1943.  I wonder where to go next.

While searching for this family I encountered various other SA Boernes, but those names never popped up. Maybe she's still alive of could she be in/from another country?
