Gnr T Nisbet, number 182308
« on: Monday 02 April 18 22:41 BST (UK) »
Hi Guys I have a favour to ask. Been sent here by the lovely people in the chat room.

Trying to trace this chap. Not sure if it's WW1 or 2 I should be looking if I'm honest and how we can about him isn't the usual rout. I've used these boards some time ago so remembered they existed .... hence I'm here. All we know is that at some point he lost his I'd bracelet on which he had his official nbe rank and that's it. At least it had the nber. Someone has apparently looked through ancestry but couldn't find in the medals books ... but I'm assuming they did that. Any help would be gratefully received.  Recently his bracelet was found by someone metal detecting on the beach in the UK.  I'd assume he'd arrange it's return.

He's on the 1941 list of Royal Artillery attestations. Looks like he was assigned to 128 HAA Regiment in August 1943 and discharged in December 1946. No other information provided.

There is very little information online on WW2 service personnel. His records will still be with the MOD.
