George Rose(b.Gateshead 1877)&Margaret Douthwaite(b.Barrasford Northumberland)

Hi Folk's you guy's have come up trumps everytime I've needed help so I wondered if you
might help with another dead end,my wife's Great Grandfather was George Rose born in Felling
in 1877/78 He is in the 1911 Cencus living in Hamsterley Colliery with his wife Margaret of three
year's with among other's his stepson Thomas Douwthwaite which gives us Margaret's maiden
name or perhap's previous marriage as I can't find any information for her either.
                                           I have searched all the usual places but George is a mystery it is
possible that he was a pre WW1 soldier as he was with a regular battalion(2nd Northumberland
Fusilier's) very early in France he was wounded in 1915 and died in India in 1916.any help with either
George or Margaret would be appreciated.

Many thank's Carole,James Errington Rose was my wife's Grandad I knew Jim well in the
last few year's of his life,he and Thomas Douthwaite Married sister's,and great you have given us Margaret's maiden name I had a feeling she may have been married before.so a new avenue to search.

Ive just trawled through BMD Carole and noted this marriage but not the death I think it's
very likely to be the correct person timescale is correct too.

Buying a copy of the 1907 marriage cert will give both fathers names/occupations to help trace on earlier records

Thank's Carole had a stroke of luck found Margaret in the 1901 cencus in Kyo near lanchester
with father William born Hexam c1855 and sibling's born Catto Margaret's birthplace correct as
Barrasford,her mother must have passed away.
