Ruffell family living St Leonard Shoreditch, 1841 census

This family is found in St Leonard Shoreditch, on Horse Shoe Alley, living in an "institution" which I presume is a poor house or some kind of hospital, as several other families are living there. The Ruffell family is:

Samuel, aged 60-64, not born in Middlesex

Elizabeth, 50-54, not born in Middlesex

John, aged 35-39, not born in Middlesex

John, aged 11, born Middlesex (later censuses say Finsbury)

William, aged 9, born Middlesex

On the face of it, this would appear to be a married couple (Samuel and Elizabeth) with their adult, widower son John, and John's two young sons. I can't seem to find the younger John on the 1851 census, although he does appear in 1871 and 1881.

There is a baptism on 29.5.1829 for John Ruffell parents John & Elizabeth at St Leonard's church Shoreditch.  John was a shoemaker

Same church and parents - William Ruffell baptised 4.1.1832

When did John jnr marry?  What is his occupation on later censuses

Samuel Ruffells, bachelor, baker, otp, married Catherine Clarke, spinster, of Abbey Green, at St Oswald Cheshire, 16 Jun 1800.

Samuel Ruffells, baker, otp, widower, married Margaret Jones, otp, spinster at St John Chester, 27 Jul 1806.

A possible third marriage....except he states he is a bachelor?
Samuel Ruffells and Elizabeth Hewings, 13 Jun 1813, St John Hackney.

And then another possible son....
Samuel Ruffells, bap 5 Jun 1814, s/o Samuel & Elizabeth, baker of Kingsland Rd, St John Hackney (buried 1817).

Possible marriages for John Snr....
John Ruffell, otp, Bach, married Elizabeth Burtwell, otp, widow, 26 Jun 1828, St Dunstans Stepney.
Or....
John Ruffell, otp, Bach, married Elisabeth Owen, otp, spinster, 6 Sept 1818, St Luke Finsbury. Although Finsbury fits with John Jnrs birth parish I think he would be too young for this to fit.

Giving a bit more credence to the marriage in Hackney is the following from England Select Marriages 1538-1973.

Found William's (son of John & Elizabeth, b1832) marriage and on subsequent censuses but not sure if Malivrag is still interested as no responses have been given so far?
