Auchinbreck Location Query

I was looking up the history of the McLeish clan & found that 'Surname DB' suggest that the name was first recorded 'in Auchinbreck, Dumfriesshire'. I know of a place of that name in Argyll, but not Dumfriesshire. Can anyone help, please?

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
