CWGC appeal for relatives is a search to locate the next of kin for soldiers who fellas a result of WW1

https://www.cwgc.org/

CWGC policy is to only commemorate a person in one place and they wish to demolish the current Memorial at Brookwood as so many on it have now been located, and to build a new Memorial containing only the names of those who have not been located.

Beats all those tree's on ancestry which name someone like this but then when you contact - the reply is very often something like .................  I am not that closely related to David Jaggard he is down as a 1st Cousin of husband of 3rd cousin 3 x removed !!!
CWGC do like a near relative and not distant.
