I have a sense of deja vu about your Nellie!

You will see from GRO Online that her mother’s maiden name was Usher.

There is a probate for Maria Rose Hooper, Bristol 1940 - granted to Nellie M Bowl, wife of Frederick Bowl.
Marriage 1925 Frederick D Bowl and Nellie M Hooper, Bristol.

I can’t remember if this fits with your other thread.  :-\

You are correct Have investigated the 1905 birth and found nothing. So when I located another birth in 1901 I would investigate that. Hope this explains what I am doing. But still appreciative for any information given. Eirwen.

It seems as though you should get the marriage certificate, if this lady is important to you.

You could look these up on GRO for mother's maiden name and Family Search for 1911.

1905
Ellen May Hooper - Hendon
Ellen May Hooper - Southampton

However, if you don’t have her father’s name from the marriage certificate, you won’t know if any are correct.
