1871?  RG10; Piece: 4254; Folio: 20; Page: 33;
Giggleswick
Ecclesiastical parish:   St Alkald
Yorkshire

Inmate  Thomas Camm, aged 57 so age a bit out. Born Long Preston, Yorkshire. However this one is described as unmarried, formerly farm boy and idiot, so may need investigating.

Hi
Thank you for that.
There are two Thomas Camms born in Long Preston.
Thomas 1809 to Stephen and Betty, and Thomas 1814 to Stephen and Isabella.
I'm finding it difficult to split the two.
I'm assuming mine is the first and the second is unmarried on the 1851 census with father Stephen.
Sorry I should have mentioned that.

So it looks as if that one is the second Thomas Camm and not yours. At least you can eliminate him.

Thanks for that
ps Just discovered he died between 1857 and 1861.
So thank you for all your help but he's not out there because he died.
Mystery solved.
