Cardiff Photo dating please

Hi

A member of the family found this photo in a family box (has Cardiff written on the back).

We don't know the person but if we have a rough year it nay help us to narrow down the person.

Hi Mazzie....This is an 1890s ...the sleeves became larger towards the end of the decade.

Then it would be a perfect match for my ancestor Florinda Greenwood (née O'Keefe) of Cardiff.

She was born in 1872.

You'll notice the Gigot sleeve consists of a "puffball" arrangement at the shoulder this indicates mid - late decade. 1896-99 I would suggest.

I thought a quick 'touch-up'might help but it's already been solved.

Is there a photographer's name on the card? Might also help with the time frame. I also ask as a relative was a photographer in Cardiff in the late 1800s/early 1900s.
