Not sure what to suggest apart from contacting them . It' obviously an iPad incompatibility problem if you've had problems for a while. I know a few people on here use iPad to use FindMyPast though  :-\

I don't like their sign in page - they seem to push signing in via Facebook!

Added - have PMed someone who uses iPad.

Totally agree Gadget, I don't like the way they push you signing in with Facebook, just so that the company and Facebook can find out more about you and share and sell parts of that information!

iPad slow but able to access information last night, then some images wouldn't load properly so tried computer and that wouldn't load some images properly either.

This is a section of their reply:

"I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble accessing Findmypast.

It sounds like your iPad has 'cached' the last page that you looked at and is not recognising a newer version of this Findmypast website page. You simply need to clear your browsing history and then sign back in to the site again. This is different according to which browser you're using, so please refer to the help pages for your browser to find out how to do this. You could also try these websites for help with clearing your cache"

I have my doubts that this will work,,,

I had exactly the same response;  eventually found advice on the Internet.

Would have been helpful if FindMyPast had advertised the fact that the page had been updated and given advice if problems were encountered!

What was the advice you found on the internet?

I googled 'how to clear cookies from iPad mini' and tried various suggestions until I found one that worked......I am a technophobe so it took a while.

Will try to find a link.

Apparently if I reset my password it should work.  I'll try that.
