Thanks , on Alex obituary it’s says mother Mary guirard, can you help me understand what this means ? Or who she is?

That must refer to the one who was a nun in Missouri. Barbara, the first child of Frances and her husband.

With Garth's death being so recent, I wonder if the cemetery might be able to pass on a message to the son? Might be worth contacting them?
