Got these 2 obituary notices for Frances ( second wife of Alex ) and Alex

Can anyone help me understand what Alex’s says

Also confused on what children is Alex’s and which is Frances , as I’m not sure if he had more than the son John to Frances

Also it doesn’t mention his previous children in first marriage

But it’s definetly him

Can anyone help me understand all the particulars in both obituary’s
