Looking again at the 23rd -

could it read?  -   arrived home about 11.15.  Things did not seem quite as usual but still it might have been my imagination.

Just reading through to see if I can fill in any gaps.  Unfortunately not, but I loved the bit about the Standard Avon with musical hooter.  Here's a Standard Avon from 1934.

Has the diary finished? I'd love to know if she eventually ended up with any of the men mentioned.

I'm happy to transcribe more, if there is any more.  Have thoroughly enjoyed this - rather like reading a good book!

Me too - and it's reviving memories of wondering how on earth I would be able to take dictation at speed!

I would still be able to take dictation at speed but whether or not I would be able to read it back is another matter.....   ;D

Hi all,

Just got back from a short trip and delighted to see the results of your endeavours. There is more and and I will gladly put it up. I will see if I can do that later today.
