The diarist is running out of steam isn't she? Perhaps the novelty is wearing off.

Will do RT.  But first, on the 22nd Nov I think  she was over-pleased to see Morris.  Silly girl, you're too good for him, we cry.  Hoping that she didn't actually marry Morris eventually or this will be a seriously foot-in-mouth comment  ;D

22nd Nov - Fri

Film Ball.  Morris and Phil came round in evening.  I was /over pleased to see Morris.  Asked them to come round on Monday.

Definitely 'over' pleased.  Doesn't look anything like 'very'  ::)

I puzzled over that for a long time because I read it as 'very' on the first sweep, but then thought, no, her shorthand is quite good so she wouldn't make a mistake like that.  And of course, she also gave us the vowel!

Perhaps the next instalment will give some clues as to Morris.

Why would she be over-pleased?  Odd word to use.

As you say, hope these are not foot-in-mouth comments :-[

Well, I suppose she had a crush on him, poor girl.  And then he and Phil were going round to her house and didn't turn up.  The fellow is a total cad!   ;D
