From the information given, that would be the case.
According to news items, Violet Lillian was a troubled girl in the early 1900's carousing in the streets and so on

Thanks for posting the questions, its been an absorbing search. Lillian comes across as a strong person to have got through all that came her way. I wonder if there is a baptism record for Ronald that could help with his middle name(s) and date of birth?

Thanks sue and mathew ....it seems my research skills /techniques are seriously lacking .If our friend Lillian was running amok 1910 should i access Maryborough hospital records for 1911 1912 or would she have been bundled off to have baby away or at home with mum .May have to contact historical society Maryborough again...would RONALDS army record  contain more specific details?  thanks Craig

Hi all as an addendum to my previous search for RONALD CECIL KOFOED birth mother , i bit the bullet and purchased RONALDS birth certificate ...it reads RONALD JOHN born 10 OCT 1911 to VIOLET KOFOED 17 years Maryborough informant babys Grandmother LILIAN kofoed witnesses by Mrs KOFOED and Mrs WHITE... so birth dates varied to cover up it seems ...thanks for all previous input Craig ..see att
