Henry Earish
« on: Tuesday 10 April 18 19:44 BST (UK) »
Good evening

I'm after a bit of help please. My great grandad Henry Earish who died in 1929 aged 44 I was wondering if anyone could locate the exact date that he died.
Also his wife Annie Elizabeth Earish (nee Yates) I have no information about her at all.
Thank you in advance

Welcome to Roots Chat.

There is a family tree on Ancestry which gives Henry's date of death as 22/5/1929.

You could always obtain his death certificate from the General Register Office -- at the moment you could request a PDF copy for £6.00.

Thanks. I'm struggling with his wife cannot find a death date for her. I have found one in 1917 but the age is 0 so I assume that it was her infant daughter.

It is possible that his wife remarried.

Also Earish is an unusual name and 'ripe' for mistranscriptions unfortunately. If you have access to Find My Past and know the names of children born before 1916 -- you could try the 1939 Register.

The children born to Henry and his wife should still have the surname of Earish (hopefully) -- so you may find Henry's wife, remarried or not - on there.
