Contested will in c1913
« on: Wednesday 11 April 18 07:18 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help with where I can find information on the above - it was listed for the Chancery Division in the Pall Mall Gazette in April and November of that year but that is the only mention (Kipping v Kipping).

Have you looked for the will on the free 'find a will' site. There may be some details or cross referencing on there.

You could also send for it on line from that site if you find it, cost £10. Bear in mind that you may have to search the years after the year of death if there was a delay in probate being granted.

Thanks for your suggestions - I have looked at the National Archives site and gleaned some information there but am more interested in who contested the will and outcome of the hearing - so will keep looking.
Thanks again.

Was the will for a Charles Kipping? If so, and if you google Charles Kipping and go to Google Books, there appear to be Law Journal reports from 1913 and 1914 about it - they are only snippets, however.   Might it be worth searching the Times Archive?

Yes it was the will for Charles Kipping, died 1910. I will check out your suggestions.
Thank you
