I am hopeless at cutting, snipping, pasting, on this computer, so my sympathy.

Off to bed now.

Just out of interest, earlier in Oct 1879 there is a

Friedrick Holzhauser, parents Wilhelm Holzhauser and Friedericke Maller, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

If and when married (not checked) they would have the same names as your couple.

Since I'm having a hard time loading the full marriage certificate I am trying to
attach it in two halves.

I don't think this would be them as they didn't get married until Oct of 1888.

I appreciate your help on this.

Two points I would make.
Death certificates are the least reliable for information as a general rule.
Germans were notorious for having multiple names, and using them in various order, so perhaps the mother is the same, but whoever gave the information used a different name each time.
I am Australian, from all the lands I come (my ancestors, at least!)

Pine/Pyne, Dowdeswell, Kempster, Sando/Sandoe/Sandow, Nancarrow, Hounslow, Youatt, Richardson, Jarmyn, Oxlade, Coad, Kelsey, Crampton, Lindner, Pittaway, and too many others to name.
Devon, Dorset, Gloucs, Cornwall, Warwickshire, Bucks, Oxfordshire, Wilts, Germany, Sweden, and of course London, to name a few.
