There's this chap, don't know if connected (can't find him either!)
June 1897 West Ham 4a 137
Bradshaw, Patrick
mother Williams

School record possibility - but one year out (not unknown!)
Bell Street School, Westminster (Marylebone)
Pat: Bradshaw
28 Brown St
father Wm
born 24.3.1896
admitted 12.11.1900

Couldn't see him at 28 Brown Street in the 1901 census (hopefully is piece 110 folio 117 page 16)
So had a look in the Marylebone settlement exam books and got lucky!
Possibly this is in September 1899 -
Honora Bradshaw 32
John Thomas 8
Patrick 21/2

Husband William Died at Sea 2 yrs ago
28 Brown St

Mentions Canning Town
Could be that she was settled in West Ham.

Ah, Sister Mrs Harrington
28 Brown St
can corroborate

John + Mary Harrington are at 28 Brown Street, Marylebone, in 1901!
John

That's quite a find John! and I now know that Hanora/Hannah had a second child.

Their father William came from Gosport in Hampshire and I'm going to see if they may have gone to live with their paternal grandparents since it appears times got hard after William's death

Hi
I have just come across something else. Not gone into it yet, it's on ancestry and also here
https://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/discover/military-heritage/first-world-war/personnel-records/Pages/item.aspx?IdNumber=60384
WW1 CEF file for a Patrick Bradshaw
born London England, 24th March 1896
next of kin - Norah Bradshaw mother, 68 Mowbray Buildings, Red Cross St London SE (or something like that!)
EDIT - several changes of address for her.
John

So it looks as if Hanora/Hannah now Norah was sill alive in 1816 and that Patrick was living at The Borough, South East London.

Yes, still living during the war. So progress of a sort. Strange case!

Could this be her?

On 19th August 1917 a Norah Bradshaw (widow) aged 54 married Thomas Parker at St George the Martyr, Southwark  (her father was John Williams, a stonemason) - her address was 11 Mermaid Court.

Death of a Norah M Parker in the September quarter of 1922, aged 58 (Lambeth district)

Could be. 17 Mermaid Court was one Mrs Bradshaw's addresses on Patrick's army record.
1918 Southwark electoral register
134 Quinn Square, Waterloo Road
Bradshaw, John Thomas
Parker, Norah
Parker, Thomas

And 134 Quinn Blg, Waterloo Rd, was yet another change of address for Mrs Bradshaw in the army record (but they didn't change her name to Mrs Parker!)

It does still leave some answered questions. Where were they in 1901 and 1911, when and under what circumstances did Patrick go to Canada, etc.

Couldn't find anything further in the Marylebone records, this link may take you to the exam on ancestry (or it might not!)

And well found, Tony!
